Warley Wigorn
Status
A township in Worcestershire (Halfshire Hundred) in Halesowen Ancient Parish, which was in Worcestershire and Shropshire until 1844, but entirely Worcestershire thereafter. The township was a separate Civil Parish in 1866 and abolished in 1884 to help create Warley Civil Parish.[ [25]

About 7 miles west of central Birmingham. A very fragmented parish which included Rood End, Langley Green, Londonderry and Causeway Green.

An extract from the Topographical Dictionary of England 1831 by Samuel Lewis:
WARLEY-WIGORN, a hamlet in that part of the parish of HALES-OWEN which is in the lower division of the hundred of HALFSHIRE, county of WORCESTER, 3 miles {N. E. by E.) from Hales-Owen, containing 878 inhabitants. John Moore, in 1797, bequeathed £100, now producing £9 a year, for which fourteen poor children are educated.
